eyeRISE 2021 – free virtual event featuring Midland Eye’s Professor Sunil Shah

EyeRISE 2021 is a free virtual event that will discuss the latest research and trends in patient eye health care and practice management. Taking place this Tuesday and Wednesday (9 and 10 February), eyeRISE provides an engaging, interactive virtual platform and offers education for a wide range of disciplines.

The two-day event will feature more than three dozen globally-renowned speakers from a range of specialties, including
Midland Eye’s world-renowned Consultant Opthalmic Surgeon, Professor Sunil Shah. Prof Shah will be moderating an important roundtable discussion tomorrow, 9 Feb (at 7pm UK time), on why cataract surgeons cannot afford to overlook dry eye.

Other topics to be discussed during the event include
Building Clinical Confidence which includes sessions on retinaglaucoma and imaging; Entering New Markets which addresses the barriers to entering myopia and dry eye management; and Too Many Patients, Not Enough Time, highlighting topics such as ocular telehealth and remote diagnostics.

Having the opportunity to network with colleagues and learn about the latest trends and technologies in eye care is critical for today’s practitioners, particularly in light of the global pandemic. The eyeRISE event provides practitioners with a unique opportunity to interact with the faculty and each other and gain practical tips and clinical insights. Given the challenges facing today’s eye care practitioners, eyeRISE represents a wonderful learning opportunity for all clinicians.

With more than 4,000 people already registered from across the world, the two day event promises to be informative and engaging for all delegates.
