Minimal waiting times and high-quality care at your fingertips with care at Midland Eye Clinic

Midland Eye Private Clinic, located in Solihull is the Midland's premier eye surgery centre. We treat thousands of patients each year, for a wide range of eye and vision concerns, ensuring that patients get the best possible outcome, no matter what their diagnosis.

Our experienced ophthalmology consultants diagnose and treat patients with a range of eye problems, including conditions associated with the natural aging process.

Blepharoplasty at Midland Eye

Eye-lid reduction surgery (blepharoplasty) is a procedure to remove excess skin or fat from the eyelids. An eye-lid reduction procedure can be performed for any of the following reasons:

  • Hereditary factors and natural aging can cause the skin to droop. Many patients wish to have eye-lift surgery to remove the ‘tired look’.
  • The procedure can remove excess skin, muscle and fat in the lower lid, which gives a lines appearance and the presence of ‘bags’ under the eyes.
  • The appearance of the eyelids may be asymmetrical and blepharoplasty may be performed to improve symmetry.
  • Saggy upper eyelid skin, known as ptosis, can obstruct the visual field (you may not be able to see the full extent of your lateral vision). In this case, ptosis surgery is performed to remove this obstruction.

When you come for a consultation with one of our highly skilled ophthalmology surgeons, you'll have a detailed discussion with your doctor to go through any concerns or symptoms you might have. And if you have treatment with us, you can rest assured that you will receive exceptional quality treatment, which is delivered by some of the best surgeons in the country.

If you are considering eye-lid reduction surgery, our ophthalmology surgeons can offer a range of advanced treatments. We offer all-inclusive package prices for eye-lid reduction surgery (terms and conditions apply).

  • Blepharoplasty on one eye-lid (upper eye-lid unilateral) with prices starting from £1,550
  • Blepharoplasty on two eye-lids (upper eye-lids bilateral) with prices starting from £2,350
  • Blepharoplasty on three or four eye-lids with prices starting from £3,750.
