Job Title: Ophthalmic Technician

In this role, you’ll work alongside a skilled team of clinicians and doctors to deliver expert ophthalmic care to patients in both clinic and satellite locations. Key Responsibilities

Support consultant-led clinics by performing diagnostic tests such as Visual Field Analysis, Tonometry, OCTs, and more.
Administer ophthalmic drugs (mydriatics, anaesthetics) and assist with emergency procedures when necessary.
Provide excellent patient care by ensuring a welcoming environment, supporting patients throughout their treatment, and maintaining confidentiality.
Manage clinic operations by liaising with consultants, ordering supplies, maintaining equipment, and ensuring accurate patient records.
Work autonomously within a clinic setting while supporting team collaboration and ensuring high standards of care.

What We Are Looking For:

Previous experience in an ophthalmic setting is beneficial, but we offer comprehensive training to help you excel.
Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
A team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering exceptional patient care.
IT literate and comfortable using systems to maintain accurate records and manage clinic schedules.
